Vina Marie del Rosario committed suicide inside the Atrium Mall in Iloilo.
Vina Marie del Rosario is the nursing student who ended her life on Tuesday by jumping off the third floor of Atrium Mall located at General Luna St. in Iloilo.
She was dead on arrival after the authorities rushed her to the St. Paul Hospital which is just nearby.
Doctors declared the cause of Del Rosario’s death was severe head injuries that she sustained from the fall.
According to her relatives, a lingering mental problem and pressures in her thesis work, could possibly triggered her decision to commit suicide.
A salon staff reportedly saw the nursing student looking very distressed at the third floor a little bit past 9:00 a.m. The next time he saw her, the victim was already throwing herself off the steel railings.
Shoppers in the mall’s ground floor were shocked to witness del Rosario’s deadly jump.
