Valerie Concepcion revealed that she was being courted once again by her ex-boyfriend, PBA player Dondon Hontiveros.

Valerie and Dondon have been together for more than 3 years before the former decided to take a break from him late last year and live a single life. She’d known him since she was 18 years old.

In an interview by PUSH.ph, Valerie Concepcion revealed that the PBA player is trying to win her back.

“…Actually in the two months na naghiwalay kami he was really parang like pinupuntahan niya ako tapos sinusundan niya ako kung nasaan ako.”

“Kaya ngayon nag-agree ako into dating him again because he’s really very persistent talaga. Siguro a week niya akong hinayaan and then after that sobra na niya akong kinulit and parang sinasabi ko sa kanya, ‘Alam mo huwag na nga muna tayo mag-usap, sa Feb na tayo mag-usap,’ parang ganun.”

“Pero ang tanong niya if I really did need the space. Sabi ko kasi hindi ko alam. Parang hindi ko naman nakuha yung space na hinihingi ko, parang ganun din. We’re okay now so I guess it was just a phase,” said the 24-year-old actress.

Valerie also revealed that she wants to date other people that’s why she broke up with Hontiveros.

“Actually what I wanted sana was to date other people also but he doesn’t want to. So ako parang hindi ko na alam. Wala pa rin naman akong ibang natitipuhan or nakikita so okay lang hindi ko pa pinaglalaban (laughs).”

“Kailan darating yung panahon na yun? Naku sa pagiging persistent nito baka hindi na dumating yung panahon na yun (laughs). Hindi ko alam. I actually want to open my doors to other guys, but sa ngayon wala pang dumarating eh so I’ll just cross the bridge when I get there if may maglakas ng loob,” she said.

Valerie is one of the stars of ABS-CBN’s latest teleserye “E-Boy” topbilled by newest Kapamilya child wonder Bugoy Cariño.

Valerie Concepcion is on the hot seat after tweeting last Sunday that President Noynoy Aquino is having a great time during the Presidential Security Group’s (PSG) Christmas party where she was invited to perform.

Here is Valerie Concepcion‘s tweet after her performance:

“Done w/ work.. Tnx for having me.. It was nice to see Pres. P-Noy laughing at my jokes & enjoying my performance..ü #Malacañang #PSGNight”

The said tweet ignited violent reactions from netizens who criticized the President for the “inappropriate” act in the midst of the tragedy in Mindanao that claimed more than 500 lives.

Valerie deleted the controversial tweet and posted a new message in defense of the President:

“I do not see anything wrong with that since its his obligation and responsibility being the head of Malacañang to be present and show his support for his hardworking employees and their respective families. But I believe that it doesn’t mean that the president is not thinking of ways to help our kababayan(s) in Mindanao. It doesn’t mean that the president is disregarding the plight of our fellow Filipinos”

On her next tweet, the actress appealed to the people not to judge the President. She also apologized for the people who got offended by her previous message:

“Let’s not be too quick to judge. But if I, in any way, offended you guys and sounded insensitive, I am very sorry. It wasn’t my intention to do either. I can’t imagine how difficult life is for the people affected in Mindanao and how difficult it is to be the president of the Philippines at this moment. Once again, I am very sorry for all those people I have offended. May God bless us all”

Meanwhile, Presidential Communication Development and Strategic Planning Office (PCDSPO) head Ricky Carandang said on Monday that “the President dropped by the PSG party for a few minutes.”

He added that the PSG Christmas party was supposed to be cancelled because of the situation in Mindanao but they decided to push through with the party because their relatives from the province already traveled to Manila just to attend.
