Phil Younghusband on GF Angel Locsin: ‘She’s the One’

Phil Younghusband and Angel Locsin are about to celebrate their first year as a couple this February.

It can be remembered that last year, Phil asked Angel on a date on Valentines Day via Twitter.

The actress declined the invitation at first because of her busy schedule but their date pushed through a few days after Valentines as witnessed by some people.

Phil and Angel were spotted together in various showbiz and private events since then.

When asked by the entertainment press about the status of their relationship, both Angel and Phil said they are not into “labels” and what’s important is that they’re happy and that they are enjoying the company of one another.

In a few weeks, Phil and Angel are going to celebrate their one year anniversary.

When he was asked if he’s sure that Angel Locsin is the one for him, Phil has this to say:

“Yes, I’m very sure. Yes, I think she’s the one.”

The Azkals star player believes his relationship with Angel is getting stronger.

“We are very close. For me, you don’t need any evidence… you just feel it. When we’re together, we feel very strong about each other.”

David Beckham to Swap Shirt with Phil Younghusband (Photos and Video)

David Beckham and Landon Donovan graced the press conference for “The Dream Cup: The Philippine Azkals vs. the L.A. Galaxy” at the Makati Shangri-la Hotel on Thursday.

Beckham thanked the Filipinos for giving him and his team LA Galaxy a warm welcome.

“Thank you for the welcome. Thank you for the kindness so far. We hope you enjoy the game,” the football superstar said.

Beckham’s team mate, Landon Donovan, said he’s aware of the Philippine Azkals because a member of their staff is Pinay.

“I learned about the Azkals very, very quickly. One of the members of our staff back home is from here, she’s a very lovely lady,” he said.

Meanwhile, Phil Younghusband, Chieffy Caligdong and some other members of the Philippine Azkals also graced the press conference.

“Papakitaan namin sila ng magandang laban sa Saturday,” said Azkals co-team captain Chieffy Caligdong.

After the presscon, Phil Younghusband tweeted that he asked Beckham that they can trade shirts after the game:

“The Dream Cup: The Philippine Azkals vs. the L.A. Galaxy with David Beckham” friendly match is part of LA Galaxy’s Asia Pacific tour that also includes stops in Jakarta, Indonesia, and Melbourne, Australia.
