Kuya Kim and Melai Embark on a Green Revolution
Kuya Kim and Melai Cantiveros will start a revolution, which everyone around the world can join regardless of culture, race, age, looks, etc.— a green revolution— to save Mother Earth this Sunday (Apr 15) in “Matanglawin.”
Aside from the usual Reduce, Re-use, and Recycle method, Kuya Kim shows an innovative way of not only saving on electricity bills but also lessening our carbon footprint by cutting down on our need for electricity through the use of a simple liter bottle, water, bleach and a hole through the roof.
Did you know that exercise isn’t just good for your health but also good for the environment? It’s because the heavier you are, the more likely you’ll need more energy to get about and more energy can lead to more pollution.
Meanwhile, Melai discovers how being eco-friendly can be fashionable with jewelry and bags made from recyclable materials and even trash.
Melai also leads a legion of kids to take the first step towards preventing floods and cleaning the air through tree planting.
“Matanglawin” is part of ABS-CBN “Bida Best Kid” campaign launched recently that aims to empower children by encouraging them to become who they want to be and the best that they can be. It doesn’t only entertain and educate its young viewers with its values-oriented, child-friendly programs, but supports their dreams and aspirations as well.
Don’t forget to become a green warrior this Sunday (Apr 15) in “Matanglawin,” 9:30 AM on ABS-CBN.
