Justin Bieber‘s comments in an interview by Rolling Stone recently sparked controversy.
When asked whether a person should wait until marriage to have sex, Bieber responded, “I don’t think you should have sex with anyone unless you love them.”
When asked about his opinion on abortion, Bieber said he does not “believe in abortion” and that it is “like killing a baby”. When asked about abortion in cases of rape, he said, “Well, I think that’s really sad, but everything happens for a reason. I don’t know how that would be a reason. I guess I haven’t been in that position, so I wouldn’t be able to judge that.”
Bieber also shared his thoughts on homosexuality stating that “It’s everyone’s own decision to do that. It doesn’t affect me and shouldn’t affect anyone else.” Rolling Stone took note that the young Canadian superstar did not intended to label homosexuality as a lifestyle choice” but pointed out that Bieber has contributed to the “It Gets Better Project,” a project started in response to the suicide of Billy Lucas, a teenager who was the target of anti-gay bullying.
Bieber also said in the same interview that he is not interested in obtaining United States citizenship, praising Canada as being “the best country in the world”, citing its health care system as an example.
Meanwhile, Justin Bieber is prepping up for his new album titled “Believe.” He is currently working with Ke$ha, Taylor Swift, LMFAO, Usher, Lil Wayne, Chris Brown, will.i.am, Kanye West, Drake and Timbaland for the said album.
Last March 1, 2012, Bieber appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show to announce that the first single off his upcoming album, Believe will be called Boyfriend and will be released on March 26, 2012. The song was co-written by Mike Posner.

Teen superstar Justin Bieber has set a new record on YouTube by being the first person, dead or alive, to ever get a whopping 2 billion video views.
Bieber’s music page attracted 94 million visitors in the past month alone to go down in the history of the video-sharing website.
Lady Gaga was the first artist to hit the one billion barrier in 2010 but Bieber bested her to the feat this year. Gaga settled for second place while Rihanna, Eminem and Shakira round out the top five.
Aside from YouTube where he has 1,049,519 subscribers, Bieber has also dominated social networking sites like Facebook where he has 37,080,001 fans, and over 14 million Twitter followers.
