The mother of Given Grace Cebanico, the UPLB student who was raped and murdered last week, calls for justice and for improved security in schools, GMA News reported.
Given Grace Cebanico will be laid to rest at 1:00 p.m. today.
In an interview by DZBB earlier today, Marlene Cebanico urged the Philippine National Police (PNP) to thwart criminals preying on students.
“Alam ko ang hustisya ay makakamit sa lalong mas mabilis na paraan at panahon… Sana itong nangyari sa aking anak ay hindi mauulit, kung kailangan magdagdag ng tanod, sana mangyari yan para ang naramdaman ko hindi maramdaman ng iba,” she said.
