Our very own Angel Locsin, Daniel Razon and Charice are vying for the top spot in their corresponding categories for the 2011 Shorty Awards.
For two years in a row, Angel Locsin (@143redangel) is once again nominated in the Actress Shorty Award Leaders category of the 3rd Shorty Awards – a competition for best producers of real-time content (Twitter).
The “Imortal” star is currently in third place competing against Stana Katic of the American TV series Castle (currently at no. 1) and The Vampire Diaries star Nina Dobrev (currently at no. 2).
On the other hand, international singing sensation Charice (@OfficialCharice) is vying under the Celebrity Shorty Award Leaders category and is now on 17th spot following Adam Lambert (@adamlambert) who is at no. 15 and Britney Spears (@britneyspears) who is at no. 16. Following Charice are Disney stars Ashley Tisdale (#18) and Joe Jonas (#19).
Meanwhile, another Pinoy is running for an award in another category. UNTV’s Daniel Razon (@DanielRazon) is currently at no. 4 in the Journalist category.
